Dialogues on a British Theme
Dr. Ege’s latest recording project is an exploration of heritage and belonging, featuring world premieres of Ethel Bilsland's Piano Concerto and Camila Cortina Bello's Concerto "Coleridge" for Piano and Orchestra. The program flows in dialogue with works by Dame Judith Weir, Shirley J. Thompson OBE, and William Alwyn.
In fall 2026, Dr. Ege recorded Dialogues with the BBC Concert Orchestra and conductor John Andrews. She is now raising funds for the final production costs of the label Resonus Classics on Go Fund Me.
After recording Avril Coleridge-Taylor's Piano Concerto with the BBC Philharmonic, Dr. Ege wanted to dive deeper into the question of Britishness and identity. What has emerged is something deeply joyful, reflective, and multi-layered.
